You sir, are one of the few wise gamers around here. Sony dupes the world time and time again and people just keep coming back for more, is the whole world stupid? Not me, i have no trust in Sony or anything they say, until i see games that live up to the "power of the cell" i will consider the PS3 a 600 dollar bluray player, that is all.
im glad they are willing to pay for what it takes to make their customers happy, MS will do anything to get the 360 users what they want. We ask they respond. Now, if only we could get Sony to acknowledge we exist, we got the blog so thats a start, just need some games, they are so worried about bluray they forgot about the gamer that made PS brand what it is.

I agree completely, the average PS fan is younger as well, this explains the huge number of fans but the low number of sales, kids dont get to decide when they get a 600 dollar system. They also dont fully realize the value of money so they defend the insane price of the PS3.
How is the elite over priced when for 79 more bux than the premium you get 100 more gigs, HDMI, and a rare black case, plus HDMI cable? HDMI 1.3 is vaporware no one cares about that crap.
dude i payed 600 bux for a console 3 months ago, that is now 500 bux, if i had known the price was going to drop so soon i would not have payed 600 bux, i feel ripped off, anyone would in my shoes unless they are die hard fanboys, who care more about the corporate financial health of Sony, than they do their own pocketbook.
3year warranty is outstanding, why does it make you dumb to get the product that is backed by the company, as apposed to buying the one that is not? That is called smart shopping in the real world, maybe not in fanboy world perhaps.

They already tried a 500 dollar and 600 dollar offering, that didn't work, they just screwed everyone who payed 600 bux for the 60gig, and seeing as how this move comes so soon after launch that means it is an act of extreme desperation, Sony did NOT plan to only sell 80,000 units a month in the US, this means all that talk about Sony having a long term plan is bogus, they are doing this because they need the sales NOW, if this does not work PS3 could be in very big trouble.
It means they will only give you motostorm for a short period, after that it will just be 100 bux for 20 more gigs.
this str8, MS releases the elite a year after launch and they are evil for ripping off the folks who payed 400 bux for the premium. Everyone said it was so unfair to folks who payed 400 bux. Then Sony drops 100 bux off the price of the console folks just payed 600 bux for a few MONTHS earlier, and no one has a problem with this? WOW talk about double standard.
this was not intentional, hollywood is far more racist and no one accuses them of this. Black characters in the movies always get killed first, they are always scary and cowardly, and hollywood rarely uses beautiful black female actresses, they only use the fat, loud stereotypical black actresses. Now that is racist, the black guy in gears was tuff and very brave and he was a cool character, they are not racist.
So that is why we get the extra content on the PS3 version, to compensate for the delayed release, I bet it will be more than two weeks.
all that is good why does anybody take the PS3 seriously as a game console anymore!?!? Delayed games of lesser quality for 200 extra bux, why would anyone with a working brain buy this thing over a 360? PSX and PS2 were great but that is not the case this time, PS3 is a bluray player first, console second, it should be treated as such.

The Xbox division of MS is an outstanding group of people, this is great, Sony would NEVER have done something like this, hell most companies would not have, not without a few law suits. This is why I prefer an American company leading in the video game industry, our standards are far higher than the rest of the world when it comes to customer satisfaction and corporate responsibility.
